What a hilarious play. It was fantastic. I have never seen the film so I didn't quite know whether or not it was a drama or a comedy. One word of warning, there was full frontal 50 year old woman nudity. I had expected it but my husband was unprepared and declared himself "scarred for life" when we left. For those who like that sort of thing it only happened the once, so don't get your hopes up. Also, I have often be amused by the concept of nipple tassels yet had never seen any in real life. Well! Imagine my delight when a character in the play was not only wearing them but twizzling them round aswell! Fantastic.

The lead actor was one of the tallest, scrawniest men I have ever seen which added greatly to the comedy.

For some reason I really like set design and this play kept me entertained as I tried to figure out how they made so many scenes out of four (or it could have been three) segments of the rotating part of the stage, without making a lot of noise.

I am going to get the movie out one day. I love the theatre, it is brilliant, and better than the cinema (which I love a lot) but at $25 a time it gets a bit pricey when two people want to go. However, if all of the plays I go to are as great as this was it will be worth it.
